For my topic, I would like to develop a campaign in which empowers indigenous women in Latino America. Many people that I talked to are my family members or family friends that have first encounters and experiences of discrimination. But I have found many articles speaking about this topic. Although society is progressing to the rate in which skin colour and your background does not matter,

in many Latino countries there is still a strict divide between individuals that look more European (mestizo) compared to people that look more indigenous. Many ideologies in central/southern countries are Eurocentric, you are considered to be less then if you are not fair in skin tone or have dark hair. I found that these characteristics are not celebrated the same way I was thought it should be.
