April 2022 - Current

Creative Designer

Cashco Financial, Edmonton, Alberta

    • Developed advertising campaigns and social media content to enhance brand visibility.

    • Created and coordinated company marketing materials, including printed resources and layouts for wall decals across branches in Canada.

    • Designed the new interior layout for the home office, managing the selection and ordering of furniture as well as coordinating wall art and overall office aesthetics.

    • Led UX/UI improvements on the company's WordPress site, utilizing Adobe XD and Figma for design mockups.

    • Successfully transitioned the old company website to Webflow, overseeing the branding efforts for the new design.

    • Coordinated social media projects and campaigns to engage audiences and promote company initiatives.

  • I am familiar with Adobe Cloud software such as Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Indesign, premiere pro and Adobe XD.

  • I have worked with multiple website platforms, including Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix, Webflow, and Shopify. This includes implementing plugins, tagging marketing analytic tools and understanding the essentials of UX/UI design on a website. I have an understanding on website design tools such as Figma and Adobe XD to create mockups for clients.

  • I have created advertisements for Google Performance Max ensuring specs were correct and coresponded to multiple platforms. I have formatted physical advertisements such as magazine advertisements and worked with Pattison signage (bus decals, large billboards and digital banners).

  • I frequently work with local print shops and companies to organize files and correctly prepare documents to be print ready. i have experience with creating Bleeds on documents and creating Die-cuts for custom decals or custom packaging design. I also have previously worked in a print shop and understand the printing process fully, and have experience creating prints on silk screens, fabric printers, and heat transfers.

  • I am fluent in Spanish and I am able to read and write.

  • I have frequently used collaboration tools such as Mondays, Microsoft Teams, and Slack. I also have experience with CRM tools such as hubspot.

  • I have coordinated events for various capacities. Main focuses have been on scheduling, budget planning, vendor acquisition, and marketing.

  • I am experienced in 35mm photography and have darkroom experience. I have also taken photos for organizations such as YWCA, editing in Photoshop and Lightroom.
